He was born in Parkersburg, Aug. 8, 1952, a son of the late Dale F. Lemon and Audra E. (Deem) Lemon.

He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was retired from Storck Baking Company with 18 years of service and worked part time at First Christian Church in Parkersburg. He enjoyed singing Gospel music with many family groups and with the Revelations and Redeemed. He also taught voice and piano lessons.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan (Cowdery) Lemon of Parkersburg; three children, Adria Lemon (Patrick Engle) of Marietta, Bethany Lemon of Parkersburg, Thomas D. Lemon and (Mellisa) of Davisville; brother, Michael G. Lemon and (Robin) of Vincent, Ohio; two sisters, Dottie L. Gearheart and (Donald) of Belpre and Cheryl S. Deem of Belpre; two grandchildren, Elias Lemon-Engle and Andreus Lemon-Engle, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy J. Lemon.

Services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at The Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Lands officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 2-8 p.m. at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg. Online guestbook may be signed @www.leavittfuneralhome.com.1
