ACCIDENT FATAL TO A. J. DEEM
Injuries suffered in an accident on Seventh Street two weeks ago proved fatal for Andrew J. Deem, 81, at 11 p.m. in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. He had been in the hospital since the accident in which he received several fractured bones and internal injuried as a result of a fall. He was born in the Chesterville community on Elizabeth pike, where he resided the past 35 years. He was a carpenter by trade. Mr. Deen was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church; a member of W. 0. W. and Carpenters Union N. 899. He is survived by his wife, Amanda A. Deem; one daughter, Mrs. C. L. Coull, Pleasant Hill; one brother, Thomas H. Deem, Parsons, W. Va., and one sister, Mrs. Emma Hoover, Ashland, Ky., and two granddaughters. The body was removed to the Leavitt funeral home pending arrangements for services. |
