Bobbie was born in Parkersburg Sept. 6, 1931, a son of the late Arbie and Lona Cawthon Kuhl. He retired from the Parkersburg Fire Department after 21 years as a sergeant. He also worked as an ambulance dispatcher for Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital for 19 years. Bobbie enjoyed golfing and motorcycles and was an avid computer user. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna M. Emerick Kuhl; four sons, Carey Kuhl (Mary) of Robinson, Texas, Joe Kuhl (Sharon) of Parkersburg, Jason Kuhl (Terri) of Vienna and Martin Kuhl (Joyce) of Parkersburg; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Helen Revaud of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, two brothers and five nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg. Burial will follow in Evergreen North Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
