He served as military police in the US Air Force, graduated from Harrisville High School with the class of 1969, and attended the Rusk Community Church. Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing, being in the woods, and carpentry. He is survived by daughter, Stacey Minor, Harrisville, WV; son, Eric Echard, Grantsville, WV; brother, Larry (Betty) Echard, Newark, NY, Denver (Beulah) Echard, Macfarlan, WV, Randy (Shirley) Echard, Cairo, WV (Cisco Community);sister, Shirley (Jon) Ayers, Harrisville,WV (Mellon Ridge Community);half brothers, Bashford Echard, Harrisville, WV(Mellon Ridge Community), Robert Sidwell, Parkersburg, WV, William Echard, Cairo, WV, Robert Echard, Cairo, WV, Doyle Echard, Harrisville, WV ( Mellon Ridge Community); grandchildren, Emmanuel Echard, Ashley Minor; caregiver, Nancy Hoffman, Lawford, WV, and companion, Doris Greathouse, Harrisville, WV. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his step father, Orval P. Echard; brothers, James Echard, two infant brothers; sisters, Judy Carpenter and Sandra Echard. Funeral Services will be 2PM, Friday, April 17, 2009, from the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, WV with the Rev. George Mackey officiating. Interment will follow in the Log Church Cemetery, Cantwell, WV. Friends may call from 11-2PM Friday at the funeral home.1 |
