Mrs. Nellie E Deem, 35 and infant son, 414 Neale St., South Parkersburg, both died yesterday at 1:30 p.m. at St Joseph's Hospital following and illness of one day.

She was born at Creston, W.Va. and had lived in Parkersburg for the past 22 years. Mrs. Deem was a member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband Walter L. Deem: two sons, Robert and Fred H Deem both at home; two daughters, Jo Ann and Shirley Marie, both at home; parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boice of Mineral Wells, W.Va; two brothers Fred H Boice of Parkersburg and Roy W Boice in the armed forces in france; three sisters, Mrs. Milred Nolan and Mrs. Grace Lowe both of South Parkersburg and Mrs. Beulah Golden of Baltimore, Md.

Both mother and son were removed to the Shaver & Co. funeral home on Murdock Av., and funeral arrangements are incomplete.2
